I worked as the editor and journalist for Clickmusic.com, which is currently down at the moment. (A cached version is available on Way Back Archive.)
My job involved writing news, reviews, features, brand partnership posts, editing images and doing bits of web design. I even did some coding, although it was often pretty simple stuff.
It was my job to keep the site running and full of new content every day. This meant some long days and late nights because it was always a race to be the first to report a story.
I also once created a firestorm when I reviewed One Direction’s Best Song Ever because opportunistic journalists misreported my review. I had an inbox full of death threats soon after, but some were pretty funny.
I worked as editor while freelancing as a copywriter and then while working full-time, so it was a delicate balancing act. I left in 2015 to focus on other writing.
